Jewelled Fragments in Time

And thus, Time itself imploded ... sending fragments of history all over its passage. Heroes of different planes and eras are picked up and gathered on post-apocalyptic Dominaria. Spellcasters once forgotten re-emerged, and lich lords once slain are resurrected. The ruins of the Tolarian Academy has been revisited, and ancient artifacts revealed their secrets once more.

In particular ... the disruptions in time brought back one brilliant artificer long ago slain for his dark aspirations....

We've been trespassing his factory a countless number of times without ever bumping into him. Finally, here he is in his full glory!

Mishra ...

the Bane of Argoth, possesor of the Meek Stone, and the Brother of Urza.

Troubles in the time rift brought back a legendary race who was destroyed when Urza folded their plane of existence. The daugthers of Serra returns with remarkably similar abilities the Angels have always been known for.

A legendary spellcaster shows her face, having been warped from her own era to the present. Many might not know her name, but her spells have been quite a favourite among the Red Mages.

Who do you think is the original caster of spells such as Incinerate, Pyroblast, Lava Burst, Inferno and Pyroclasm?

Here's the answer : Jaya Ballard, Task Mage

Well, though many might think that Wizards of the Coast have ran out of new ideas to actually come up with a concept which rummaged through their old ideas, Time Spiral is truely an expansion to look forward to. Thrulls, Goblins, Yavimaya elves, Keldon warriors, Krosan beasts alike have all been brought back into one place.

Further ... legendary cards such as those above have been created. The arsenal involves big names such as Teferi and Lim Dul the Necromancer. In addition, feared cards from ages back has been revived ... recall Living Death? How'd you like to put all the creature cards in your graveyeard into play, while getting your opponent to sacrifice all his creatures in a single turn? It's back, under the name Living End.

I'm thinking of making a comeback ...

I think.
